Reached home today at 11.07pm. It was super funny when I was boarding the bus, cause 30 was about to leave then I ran there then I didn't know I dropped my waterbottle till Gou Wei reminded me. Then I got off the bus to pick it up, lol. I think the bus captain must be thinking I'm a free-rider, haha.
Don't know what so shocking about it but I signed up for facebook. Lol, Rachel said it is a miracle for someone like me to sign up. Haha, actually it is quite true. I usually don't sign up for stuff easily. Up to now, I still don't get what facebook does, other than uploading pics, accepting friends' request and playing games. Well, if it is of any fun to me, Restaurant City is simply addictive. Sian, every 3 hours must check...really like what the guide said, that it made a lot of people change their lifestyle. Now, first thing reach home is to on it and AFK and go bath, lol. Thank God it is an AFK game, if not I'll get hooked onto another game other than DOTA, which is extremely detrimental to my studies, especially since I'm having A level this year.
Today's bazaar was fun, although I didn't manage to sell any of my clothes, due to strong competition. With Ed Hardy and AX shirts going for only $15, who would want to buy anything else? Too bad I didn't bring much money. Thought that I will spend the whole time at the stall, lol. But Edwin's last minute idea of selling drinks totally rocked. Managed to make a profit of $9 just by selling can drinks. Knowledge is truly power.
To Wayne:
Everyone got to make a decision when they come to a cross-road. Regardless of what decisions you will make, I will always respect it, cause there is no right or wrong decision. It is all about perspective. =)
However, I really hope you can come back to CG asap. You know, there aren't many people out there that I can share my problems with as easily as with you. I daresay you are the best friend I ever have for the past 17 years. Since primary 1 to secondary 3, I've been the outcast of my class and experiencing the joy of friendship was totally out of the question. I know what it feels like to be totally left alone. It sucks, trust me.
As the saying goes, 'A friend in need is a friend indeed'. It wasn't easy to build such a close friendship with you. Please don't break it just because you can't come for service and CG. If you need any form of help or a listening ear, please come and find me. I'm busy and I know we are all busy people too. But I'll always be there to help you whenever I can to the best of my ability.
God bless
Your dearest friend,
Gary

My classmate just shocked me today during maths tutorial by saying that we've got 30 weeks left to A level. I don't know why my reaction was so strong but I immediately retorted: "What?!?!?! Cannot be lah! 1 year got 52 weeks and it's not even June now!" Essentially, 30 weeks to me is very short. It means only 30 weeks more of service and CG, 30 weeks more of JC education, 30 weeks more of _____ to A levels? How come I didn't take notice of it? Then he told me to count carefully and I realised he was right.
Specifically, I got 203 days to my first paper on 10 November. Oh man, I really need to start mugging. Thank God my results are still quite alright, but I'm determined to get my straight As, especially for my 3 H2s. For econs, I'll just do my best and let God do the rest. A C would suffice to get into my course, according to statistics.
Talked to my brother's best friend today and found out a lot about NS. I was quite worried initially that NS will be a living hell. Furthermore I'm PES A, which means I can't slack. I told him I can't even do 20 push-ups. Then he said there will be people there who can't do also, and then we'll get scolded together, and we'll all laugh together. Then after a few months, push-up will be so simply it is like breathing. I was like "Lol!, really??" He also cleared my misconceptions about 2.4km. I thought that you must run like 9 minutes and below, if not you have to re-run. Then he said, no la, passing mark is 12.30 mins. 9 minutes is like the best there. I was quite surprised, cause I thought everyone there can run 9 minutes and the best there can run 7 minutes. Then he said 7 minutes and go run Nationals already, lol!
Sounds funny, but I'm all ready for NS. COME ON NS, GIVE ALL ALL YOU'VE GOT! =D
Before that, I've to clear a huge hurdle called A levels. Wait for me NS, I'll be coming for you!
I love wednesday, cause it has one of the least lessons, other than thursday. =)
0800-0930: Econs tutorial
0930-1000: Break
1000-1130: General Paper
1130-1230: Physics lecture
1230-1430: Break
1430-1800: CCA!!!! 2 more weeks to stepping down
After that, going meet Zhang Yu and CC for dinner. Gonna miss my maid's cooking but what's a little sacrifice compared to fellowshipping? Hehe =X
Lastly, God pls bless DFTL. I don't want it just to be a success. I want it to be the best outing yet. I can't afford to mess up anymore. Give me wisdom, knowledege, anoiting, strength, grace, faith, power and anything else that will help me. Thanks God, I love you. =)

Had a tough week rushing through some CG stuff.
It was mostly negligance on my part, and I got to thank Angel, Chao Chung, Rachel and Wayne for helping me out with DFTL.
Especially Chao Chung, who stood up with me till 4am to do all the slides. I think Chao Chung is the most sacrificial friend I ever have.
If you are tired, think again. I'll let you know how much just Chao Chung slept for the past 4 days.
Thursday- 2 hours
Friday- 3 hours
Saturday- 3 hours
Sunday- Didn't sleep at all
Some people just complain they are too tired to do anything, too busy to do anything and too _____ to do anything. It sort of reminds me back to the good old days of being an orientation group leader. Whenever we are tired, we always remind ourselves that if we don't do it, someone else will do it and we will cause that person to suffer. So, in the end, we all worked together despite our tiredness and orientation'09 was a great success. I believe, it is when people worked together in tough times that strong bonds are forged. Indeed, this experience has made Chao Chung and me closer. I said this many times, and I'll say it again. Without you, I'll have died long ago. Thanks a lot Chao Chung! =)
Everyone has 24 hours in life. How you want to use that 24 hours is up to you. The rich man has 24 hour, likewise the poor. Time has no discrimination against anyone.
My 2 impossible childhood dreams:
1. To invent a time machine
2. To invite a teleporter. Actually it is becoming possible. A research lab in London just teleported an atom 1 metre across the floor, using the theories of quantum physics, which I'm currently studying now =) I hope to see the day where a human being gets teleported from boon lay to pasir ris. If this can happen, Edwin will thank me for life, lol! Don't need to take taxi from Jurong East to Bedok anymore, hahaha. =D
Acoording to PF16 character assessment test, I'm a guy who likes to dream and seldom have any practical plans. Quite true, I'm quite the dreamer but my dreams are sometimes too unrealisitic, lol.
Nevermind, I shall continue living with the motto, "Dream Big".

The Easter season is over and it was most certainly the best Easter for me. =) I finally managed to invite my classmates to church and now, talking about church and telling others I'm a christian is less awkward compared to the past.
I was telling some of the new members/friends that I used to be anti-social, semi autistic when I was younger and even became an outcast of the class from primary 3 to 6, till I attended City Harvest Church (CHC) when I was primary 6. It is quite hard to believe that I used to be anti-social right? But there are many of such cases in church too, that God has changed their lives for the better, just like mine.
Jasper was telling me he has some prejudice against CHC due to some money scandals and rumors. I think it is not uncommon for many people out there as well, cause our church is rich and such rumors arising are inevitable. But I've been long enough in church to know that they are not using our money for ill gains. If so, I doubt the church will be able to survive anyway, cause there won't be money to pay for all the utilities bill, miscellaneous and other monetary issues. Furthermore, they didn't force us to give. I'm quite positive that I'm lucid everytime I give an offering. No one hypnotised me or pointed a gun to my head, lol.
But if the people out there such mindset, it is almost impossible to correct them. It is like giving an apple to someone and telling him it is an apple, but he insists that it is a pear, even after giving him 10000 reasons why it is an apple, not a pear. In this world we live in, it is all about influence. Some people need to be given only 1 reason, some people need 10, some 100 and so on. However, there are extreme cases, unfortunately, that even with infinite amount of reasons, they still won't accept it. It is just too bad for them, we can't do anything anyway anywhere.
Back to reality though, in this case my studies, I just got back my physics test and I'm super duper happy! Got 30/50!!! =) Might not be an A but I'm really flabbergasted cause I thought I'll fail. Even my teacher wrote 'Good effort!' beside my marks, haha. Only Danny got A but he was so humble. He doesn't like people to call him a scholar, lol.
I'm in a clique now and it is my first time being in a clique, lol. It is called the CR45 clique, wahahaha. CR45 stands for computer room 45, a computer lab at 4th floor which is open to ALL students from 10am-6pm with INTERNET ACCESS! Then we go there to play Wahjong during
breaks, haha. This site is really fun, I recommend it. =D
http://www.viwawa.com/
You can play Wahjong, Big 2(tie ti), Bridge and so on!
Ok I become a slacker in school now, so unlike the mugger nature in me. I need an impetus, seriously. Maybe if I fail the next test, I'll have the pressure to study. But I don't want to fail any test. So it all goes back to the chicken and egg story. Should I fail, then I can study? But if I study, then I won't fail. Then if I won't fail, I won't study. Then if I won't study, I will fail. But if I fail, I'll study, then I won't fail. GG I GIVE UP!!!
Another shocking news is, I got PES A for NS check-up! Dang, there goes my chance of slacking. Ashley, I'm so envious of you! I want PES C too, so I can slack. I'm so gonna suffer in NS. I better enjoy life while I still can. And why am I in the 1st batch? Have to enlist in december. After A level go NS straight.Well they say it is better to get it done and over with. I've no idea and I don't have a choice.
According to the timetable, my first paper starts at 10 Nov and ends at 30 Nov. 20 days of exams, and I've no time to enjoy myself or celebrate after that. Thanks man...
Wayne, I do agree that it is quite pointless having a crush at some time. It doesn't make a difference cause there is totally no way, or maybe there is but it is difficult, to know the person in subject. But, I guess that is human nature. Alas, we have to live with it. I'm having my A level this year but I'm going NS soon. What a complicated life we all have. Now I know why some person(s) want(s) to have a simple and easy life.

Just finished my hardcore Dota session and won like 4 times in a row. Winning is fun! =D
Opps sorry Wayne just saw ur calls, my handphone wasn't with me just now.
Easter service was good today, cause I don't need to serve and can finally get to enjoy service.
The drama was good as usual, cause it has a scientific theme and I love science too, other than math. The Final Solution(FS) is really a controversial issue, lol. Wayne and I were like debating about it.
If I'm a scientist I will invent something like that, without the muscle cramps and mental deterioration and the other side effects. Then, Wayne said that it isn't good, cause it will induce more criminals to commit more heinous crimes and get away scotfree by opting to get injected by FS. Then I told him I'll implement a system whereby all the newborn babies will be injected.
Then it stopped here. But I'm sure it will go on and on if we had the mood to do so, lol.
Wayne said I talked too much cause I missed 3 buses due to talking with Jasper, hahaha. But seriously, the buses were full, so can't put all the blame on me. But good what, can train his patience, which is one of the the fruits of the spirit. =X
After that went to arcade at JP and I went to play Para-para. I think I only know to play that in the whole arcade, lol. It isn't a girl-thing ok, guys dance too, according to my observations.
Actually I realised quite a number of JJCians are from City Harvest, just that they are from different zones and services. I really want to meet some of them, lol. JJC shall have a revival! =)
I'm serving later so I need to wake up at 9am. Ah, pimples all over my face due to inadequate amount of sleep. Maybe I need a EUMORA miracle bar? LOL! Funny advertisement!
I can't believe it is april already. There goes my building fund. Even if I find a job now, I won't be able to get enough money to fulfill it. If only money can drop from the sky, wouldn't that be great? Rhetorically answered. Wouldn't it be great if I can sleep 10 hours everyday? Wouldn't it be great if I can stay at home everyday and still get straigtht As? Reminds me of the cadbury song. "Wouldn't it be nice if the world was cadbury?"...To all the questions above, Yes!!!

Today is Good Friday, the day that Jesus died on the cross of calvary for the sins of all mankind. I'm sure many out there still don't know of the wonderful deed he has done, and they ought to know so.
Services I'm going:
Wow, all also got 0.30 behind.
I really hope Expo drama will be good cause I'm going all the way there alone. Wayne also said I'm wasting my time. Why are all my close friends saying this? Haix...it is not a waste of time. If it is so, then all those people who watch movies, concerts and musicals are wasting their time too, aren't they? I mean you can argue that I watched it already in Jurong West, but I'm absolutely certain the feel I'll get from watching in Expo will be totally different. At least I convinced myself already, haha.
Ok, enough spoiler for Easter service.
Yesterday was the release of the 'A' level project work grade.
Bad news: I got C. Good news: Percentage of A was only 14%. I wanted a B but, nvm, C is still good, cause I was really afraid I would get D or E. I think project work is plain waste of time and resources and Wayne I'm sure you'll agree with me, lol. Spend so much time on a subject which grade is unpredictable. I rather spend the same amount of time on all my H2 subjects. By the way, have fun doing your PI! =D
And about the story, rest assured that I won't write about it. I don't want to risk seeing my name appearing on a specific blog, lol. But it would have been a great story to write about, haha. Nevermind, I shall create my own story when I'm free! =X

I'm so excited for the easter service later on, cause I'm bringing 2 friends later, Jasper and Dave. Hope they will enjoy the drama and their life will be tremedously blessed. =) If only more of my classmates can come. Oh well, I did try my best, and I'm quite happy about it. =)
I already got a preview of the props of the drama, cause I went to support duty today, hehe.
Can I wear those too? =P
This bed is very tempting. Joshua and I wanted to sleep on it, haha.
Dave said I was 'siao' cause I'm going on friday, saturday and sunday for easter service but I thought it was normal, lol. Last year I think I went for 10 out of 11 services. This year only going 3 out of 9. Wah, I failed. Passing mark 4.5, lol.
Services I'm going:
Friday 3.30pm
Saturday 3.30pm
Sunday 12.30pm

Just came back from Central Manpower Base for NS check-up. Didn't have to go school today. The only bad experience I had, was the discomfort of the injection. It has been primary 6 since my last injection. Ouch...
A free man is a happy man. So true =)
BLOOD DONATION DRIVE FINALLY OVER AND I'M SURE GLAD IT IS!
I could look at that sentence for 100 times and still not get bored over it, lol. 2 months of hardwork had paid off, and I'm really satisfied with it, even though there is still room for improvements. Wonder how many CIP hours I'll get. Last year organiser for trilympics for 200 hours, so I think I would get 200 too. Lol, then my CIP hours will be like 700+.
So now, I've got to do is to catch up with my studies.
For physics: Do EM and EMI tutorial
For math: Do complex numberB
For Chem: Do electrolytic cell
For General Paper: Do 20 newspaper articles
Easter is coming soon too! I can't wait to watch the drama, cause every year it gets better and better, haha. I hope my friends will be able to go too, and they will get touched by the it.
God, I pray for JJC revival. Winners make things happen, losers let things happen. I want to be a soul-winner and it all depends on the Holy Spirit and me now. I can do it! =)
