Omgosh I'm back after 13 days in camp!
Before field camp, I love rainy days. Now I hate the rain. 7 days of field camp, rained for 6 days. Almost died of freezing on the 4th night cause we slept in the rain in the open field, without anything above our head. Many fell sick after that, including me. Got att 'B' for 5 days cause I got foot rot and multiple blisters. Only light duties, cannot take part in exercises. Damn sian, every morning see them go run and do static, then all the sick people sit one corner and stone. Now my mental strength damn weak after I recovered. Must regain back the momentum of exercising.
Field camp is super ultra duper uber tiring and tough. After field camp, a lot of people don't want to be commando already. I also don't feel like becoming one, it's not the army life that I want. But what can I do? My buddy asked me honestly whether I want to be a commando, and I said no. But I told him, I don't want to purposely injure myself and down PES, so just take everything that comes my way.
The good news is that POP is just 12 days away. I made it this far, I don't want to give up now.

Countdown to POP: 25 days
Woke up at 7am and my whole body was aching cause of UDC yesterday, so I went back to sleep and just woke up, hahaha! UDC was really really really tough, stretched beyond our physical limits and had to use all of our mental strength too. Almost gave up half way and even when it's ending, I also wanted to give up, but our whole detail just kept encouraging one another, it was so memorable. We sang a victory cry at the end too, lol.
NUS open house today, but I don't think I'm going cause got service later on. Anyway, I already know what faculty and course I'm going, so just pray that I'll be able to get in. Too bad won't be able to see my brother today though, although he told me to go but nvm la =X
The next few weeks to POP will pass very fast, like what instructors say, cause...
I'm going Tekong for Field camp for 7 days next week! Gonna see all the wild boars, gonna leopard crawl a lot (I hate this the most, whole elbow got abrasion), high kneel, 16km route march, etc. That's why they told us to enjoy our weekend. Cause when they say this, it means the next week is going to be hell. And next week will be the toughest part of BMT. Once I pass next week, the rest will be easier.
Then Iron soldier, IPPT/SOC, Basic Airborne Course selection, 24km route march, POP. 5 more events to go and BMT will be over. I can do it, yeah!

Countdown to POP: 33 days
A good day to blog, cause it will probably be the one and only time I get to book out on Thursday for BMT. Going to collect A level results tomorrow, that's why.
Yet again my WOs say we can't reveal much about our activity, but the past 3 days have been tough both mentally and physically. Slept only 2 hours each day on average, plus all the activities that we do.
My sergeant say there are many kinds of pain. Physical, mental, emotional, psychological, etc. and physical is the easiest to conquer. "It's all in the mind, just tell yourself you can do it." It's like converting physical pain to mental pain, lol. I agree with one of my platoon mate's comment. Some of our instructors are not really that fit, but their mental strength is really powerful. Can literally see them struggling, yet they won't give up. The spirit of never quit, slowly building inside of me too.
Frankly speaking, I'm not really that excited for the results tomorrow. Sort of know what kind of results I'll get already. I'm still hoping for a miracle. Nevertheless, whatever results I get, I'll have no regrets. We always make mistakes in life. Mistakes are inevitable. But the most important thing, is not to have regrets.
